HERIT.DATA – SUSTAINABLE HERITAGE MANAGEMENT TOWARDS MASS TOURISM IMPACT THANKS TO A HOLISTIC USE OF BIG AND OPEN DATA

The main objective of the HERIT-DATA project is to promote a sustainable and responsible tourism management in the cities located in the MED regions through the use of innovative solutions that improve the management of tourist flows in the sites of cultural and natural heritage through technologies and big data. In particular in Valencia, sensors are being installed to measure cruise flows at various points in the city and a cruise management platform is being developed to improve the coordination of the different parties involved in this traffic.
